First Catch

Click Click Click Click, is what  I hear on the fishing line. I'm thinking yes we got one.  But when my dad and i pull in the line its just a big piece of kelp. Thats when me and my dad throw out the line again and about 10 minutes later we hear a small click click click. So were thinking probably just another piece of kelp. So were pulling it in and were feeling some stronger pulls, Then a fish jumps out of the water with a line coming out of it's mouth. My dad and I are excited but not as excited as when we pull it onto the back stairs of the boat. We have been looking threw a bunch of fish that live in Catalina and it is the fish we have been hoping for, a Yellow Tail. So we stunned it with tequila and then killed and gutted it and had it for dinner. We put on the grill and just did a basic grill. We put salt, pepper, italian seasoning, and lime. That was really good, Mykaela ate about 2 pounds of the 4 pounds of meat.

I hope its the first of many!
